South America’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination 2018
Chile was chosen for the fourth consecutive year as the best South American adventure tourism destination of 2018 by the World Travel Awards of this year. Our country surpassed Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay, which competed for the same category.
When it comes to adventure, Chile has a lot to offer.
Skiing down mountains and volcanoes, scuba diving, zip lining through lush forest canopies surfing, trekking in the Andes, hiking in Torres del Paine National Park, kayaking and kitesurfing in the beaches of the vast Pacific Ocean, sportfishing in rivers and lakes and sandboarding in the desert. Therefore, Chile is definitely the best South American adventure tourism destination.
